prototypeLAB was born in the summer of 2010 in a small coastal town near Rome, from the encounter between Andrea Fenili, Stuart Franzoni, Emiliano Guerrieri, and Dario Tomasino. The band embarked on a musical journey without defined boundaries, blending progressive rock, alternative, and pop into an original and engaging sonic experience. After years of intense live performances and lineup changes, the band has defined its artistic identity, characterized by a balance between experimentation, technical virtuosity, and emotional impact.
After performing live at major festivals like Etruria Eco Festival and prominent clubs such as CrossRoads and Stazione Birra, prototypeLAB released their debut album, “Mea Culpa,” in 2015.
In 2019, the band joined Luminol Records, reasserting their musical identity and beginning a new creative phase.
February 2025 saw the release of their latest album, “Unboxing Memories,” published by Luminol Records—a profound, intimate exploration of memory and personal identity. This album represents a further maturation of the band’s style, combining emotional depth and musical sophistication.
